How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders and subscriptions.
- To send order and subscription emails, such as confirmations, shipping notices and renewal reminders.
- To send marketing emails, if you agreed. Unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To show you Cafe Utopia ads on other sites and apps, and measure how our ads perform.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. We use advertising and tracking tools, which may include Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and RedTrack, to show you our ads after you visit and to measure results. These tools set cookies or use pixels that collect device and usage data.
We don't sell your personal information.
You can limit cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the store, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Store and checkout platform (Swell) and payment processing (Stripe).
- Shipping and fulfillment (ShipStation and the carriers).
- Email service providers.
- Analytics and advertising partners, as described above.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, and a buyer if the business is sold.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email support@cafeutopia.com. We'll verify your identity and respond within the time your state's law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Keeping your information
We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons, and other information only as long as it's useful for the purposes above.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and payment details are handled by our PCI-compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
Our site isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Our products contain caffeine and aren't recommended for children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
